Hey guys! I hope that the Americans among you had a great Thanksgiving (do I have international readers? Wait…do I have any readers since I’ve become such a slacker??). Anyways. My Thanksgiving was quite lovely, as usual.
I’m always showered with delicious meals when I go home – my mom is an amazing cook and makes you feel so cared for. Naturally, her Thanksgiving meal (as well as the book-ending goodies – think cranberry and pumpkin bread with orange cream cheese, hummus, and homemade apple and pumpkin pies) is always executed impeccably. My favorite has to be her vegetarian stuffing – complete with fausage (as she calls it). It’s so good. Thanks Mom and Dad for a great weekend!
As we all are probably feeling already – the holiday rush is upon us. I’m making an effort to stay calm and out of the malls as much as possible. I have quite a few holiday gift ideas and have been making a dent in the list already – mostly online, thank goodness! I’m going to start making my holiday cards this week and will be doing some holiday cooking both as for gifts and to generate some holiday spirit. With all of this in mind, I thought I would collect some links to recipes I’ve made in the past that are perfect for the holidays. I’d love to see some of your favorites, as well!
