Pledge of Health and Happiness

Hi friends! Happy Tuesday. How goes it? Today went super fast. I started the day out just like yesterday – with some glorious yoga. Today’s practice was a bit more rigorous – Yoga Sculpt from ExerciseTV. It definitely left my arms feeling like noodles! Today is only the seventh day of the challenge and I’m already getting sad for it to end. Hehe.

Moving on, though, as you guys know, I’m a huge fan of fruit and vegetables.

They are a delicious way to make sure you are getting all of your required nutrients and vitamins.

They add flavor and color to meals and generally make you feel like the god or goddess that you are.

Well, I was contacted a few weeks ago by the folks at Edible Arrangements about their Pledge of Health and Happiness which is taking place this week. Basically, Edible Arrangements is hoping to encourage Americans to meet the daily goal of making fruits and vegetables half of our daily food intake. (Seems like a lofty but attainable goal!)

Being such a fruits and veggies fan, as well as an Edible Arrangements fan (note: chocolate covered fruit counts!), I definitely decided to join the pledge and spread the word. You can join too (and get a free Pineapple Pop!) by visiting the Edible Arrangements Facebook page: here.

If you excuse me, I have some veggies to eat. :)
