Hey guys! Happy Monday! How goes it? I hope that you had a nice weekend! I had a great weekend filled with family, friends and sunshine which is just how I like it. To be honest, though, lately it has seemed as if the weekends are never long enough and I’ve been feeling a bit rushed and busy all the time.
Along with this, I’ve been experiencing a bit of trouble sleeping and have been stressed a little more than usual about work. This all means that, despite still being my happy, healthy, optimistic self, I’ve felt a bit out of sorts. I’ve made sure to keep exercising and get plenty of outdoor time (both are my favorite outlets), but I haven’t been doing much yoga at all.
Today, when I was making my way through my reader, I was excited to read Jenna’s post about her 21 day yoga challenge. I’ve decided I’m going to do it in the hopes of bringing some more balance and calmness in my life. I KNOW that yoga will help with how I’ve been feeling and will keep me grounded. I’ve re-read this post about what yoga has meant to me and its definitely driving me even more. :)
Upon getting home today I made myself a nifty 21 Day Yoga Challenge calendar. It will serve as a reminder to get at least ten minutes a day on the mat and will be fun to cross the days off as I go along. Tomorrow is the start!
