In the Works

Hey guys! Happy Tuesday. How has the week back been treating you? I can’t complain – its been super busy but that means that the days slip by (and it means a happily occupied working woman!). It has been really sunny here which is always a mood booster. Anywho, I hope that you guys are having the same pain-free return from vacation that I am. *knocking on wood*

So tonight, I had plans to share a delicious veggie curry recipe with you, but its just not right yet. I kind of winged (wung?) it using some Thai red curry paste, soymilk, soy sauce, sugar, raisins, tempeh, and frozen veggies. While it was certainly edible, there was something missing. I added a bit of salt and garlic powder while eating and that seemed to improve it a bit. I’m going to go back to the drawing board on this one and will report back!

In other news, the Trader Joe’s whole wheat couscous that I picked up this weekend couldn’t be more agreeable. Its so easy and delicious. Ohhh, that’s what she said.

Also, I’m craving something I’ve never had before – a DQ blizzard. There happens to be a DQ near work…I may have to cave. Any recommendations?? :)

I used to eat blizzards all the time...that was a vice! I love cookie dough, banana split and heath. Have one for me since I can't have one!

MMMM DQ Blizzards, I used to inevitably wait in the falling snow for the opening day of the DQ stand when I lived in CT. That being said, if your going to get a Blizzard go big and get a Snickers in chocolate ice cream, or a Heath Bar with chocolate. Now that I am thinking about it you really can't go wrong with any of them!

Haha, I'm laughing at wung.

I haven't had a blizzard in a really long time, but i would think an oreo one would be good.

There's a sit down DQ the next town over from me! I've never been to a sit down one before. I need to hit up! My favorite blizzard is cookie dough. This summer, let's rock the DQ HARD!

Hope you figure out the soup :)
