A Perfect Fall Breakfast

Happy Saturday, friends. I hope that its a great one in your neck of the woods. I have been celebrating with a slow and lazy morning complete with lots of coffee and a beautiful bowl of oats (perhaps made even more beautiful by the fall tablescape my mom has created).

This was made with 1/2 cup oatmeal, 1/2 cup skim milk, 1/2 cup water, 1/2 a banana cooked in the oats, vanilla and cinnamon. Topped with the other half of the banana, crushed almonds, a few raisins and some maple syrup. Delicious.

I have some errands and house things (raking, ugh…definitely taking one for the team, here!) on the agenda today. What do you have going on??

Looks like a beautiful way to start a fall morning! I ran around like a chicken with my head cut off yesterday and today is not going to be any better. While it is fun stuff, it is exhausting. I hope you have a great day today Emily!
