Before I get into my regularly scheduled posting, I just want to thank Adrien again for her guest post. I know that it couldn’t have been easy to write and put out there for the world to see and I think its so important that she did.
My day started off on the right foot with a glorious shower – first one in 6 days. Don’t worry, I was soaping up in the bath. (TMI?) Anywho, it felt amazing (with a side of sting). I’m really healing up and its making me quite happy. Breakfast was equally glorious – overnight oats with plain greek yogurt, oats, apricot jam, half a nanner, cinnamon and some naturally nutty cinnamon vanilla sunflower seed butter.
For lunch, I had a lovely date with my best coworker-friend Nan and a side of salad bar. I didn’t take a picture, but you guys have seen it numerous times. Mixed greens, cuc, carrots, beans, hummus, croutons… yum on a plate.
Snack was like dessert. Its been a while since I’ve had a Pure bar and it tasted delicious. Must pick up more. :)
After work, I made my way to the gym. It felt glorious to put some workout clothes and sneaks on. I did a hill walk on the treadmill and it felt soo good to break a sweat. It was Emilyday worthy, indeed.
By the time I got home I was a starvin’ marvin’. I made some sweet tater homefries on the stove – once they were nice and crispy, I added some bell pepper, spinach and an egg. I topped it all off with salsa, half an avocado and some hot sauce. Yum.
