Hey guys! Happy Tuesday! What’s the good word? The good word for me today is HUNGRY. Before work, I managed to get through the Last Chance Workout with Jillian on Exercise TV. If I thought that was hard during the day, I have no idea why I thought it would be a good idea to do it first thing in the morning. Phew! It was brutal. I am really glad that I did it though – I felt super invincible all day (if I can stick it to Jillian, I can stick it to anyone).
Breakfast was delicious and a new treat. I was recently contacted by someone at Cheribundi to see if I would be interested in trying some of their cherry juice. I’m normally not a juice drinker, but what summer-lovin’-red-finger-stained-cherry-pit-spitting gal could say no to cherry juice? Anywho, breakfast, yes breakfast. I worked out the idea to use the cherry juice in my morning oats! I used half a bottle of the original tru cherry juice, 1/2 cup of almond milk and half a cup of oats. I was self-conscious of my pink oats at work, but it was oh so worth it. The cherry juice made such a nice tang. With some pb on top, it was deeelish.
Despite its deliciousness, I was starved by lunch time. I guess that’s what Jillian will do to a gal. Lunch was absolutely delicious, helped in no small part to leftover grilled vegetables from my plato vegetariano last night.
I used the leftover bell peppers on a whole wheat bagel thin with some melted provolone, honey mustard and spinach. I ate the leftover pepper butt and some asparagus on the side.
Not long after lunch, I was hungry again. Enter freckled (boiled) egg.
And then there was a nanner with vitamin water.
And finally, a leftover half of peanut butter granola bar.
After a trip to the grocery store on my way home, I was starving again. I quickly turned on the oven to roast some broccoli and heat up a chik’n cutlet and chopped up a carrot to munch with hummus.
About 15 minutes later, I had this feast – open faced sammy on fresh whole wheat bread with a bit more hummus, dill pickles, chik’n cutlet and guacamole. Sounds a bit strange, but it was delicious and dare I say it, my tummy is finally full.
Its been stormy but I have plans to take a walk with a friend so I’m hoping that it continues to clear up. It looks like we may be able to squeeze it in! If not, some ice cream is definitely in store anyhow. :)

Jillian sure does have a way of making me feel like a rockstar, haha! ;) I was looking for that workout on Exercise TV and I couldn't find it. I really want to try it out. Does it use weights or is it strictly cardio?
That cherry juice looks good!!!!!! I bet your oats were awesome. I don't think I've ever had cherry juice, but I KNOW I would love it.
I've been having a HUNGRY past 4 days now!! I wish things would balance out finally!!

Gotta love those bottomless pit days. Hummus + guacamole sounds like a good idea- YUM!
I did the shred dvd some mornings when I knew I had plans after work and it was brutal. I am not a morning person at all. Did make me feel pretty awesome. Great job!
Some days we are just hungrier than others. At least you satisfied yourself with delicious healthy eats. I had a sandwich similar to yours today. Mmm, grilled veggies :)
