Still on the Move!

Hi lovely blog friends! Happy Tuesday! I'm having such a hard time keeping track of the days. I feel like I've been on the go for so long now! I'm really looking forward to getting settled in the new place.

Yesterday flew by! It was a somewhat stressful day at work but it ended up fine and I got a lot done. To fuel me through, I started the day out with a delicious bowl of oats. I had some bananas that were bordering on being overripe last Friday so I cut them up in baggies and placed them in the work freezer. One of my frozen nanners was the perfect addition to my oats. So tasty and creamy. I topped them off with a packet of barney butter. It was like a delicious frosting on top. :)

For lunch, I had a whole wheat english muffin toasted and topped with hummus, fresh basil and fresh cuc slices. On the side I had some more cuc and organic baby carrots. Yum. I loved the mix of the creamy hummus and the refreshing basil and cuc.

For my snack, I had a plain oikos with a nectarine and some chia seeds. This was my first time trying them and I'm not sure what to think yet. They were fairly innocuous - kind of like poppy seeds until they got in my mouth and became kind of slimy. Maybe I didn't leave them in the yogurt long enough to let them do their thing...

After work I headed to the gym to get some cardio in before another yoga class at Healthworks. I did 25 minutes on the Arc Trainer while reading my Thrive Diet book - its so good.

After my cardio, I headed out to Healthworks. On the way I had the other half of my Koka Mocha pro bar. It was so good - I didn't remember it tasting as good the first time around. Yum.
Yoga.was.so.hard. I was sweating like crazy about five minutes in. There were a ton of core and leg strengthening poses (that were held forever!), not to mention all of the chatarungas. Yikes! I loved it. :)

After yoga I headed home to have some dinner lickity split. I heated up an Amy's chili, rice and corn bread meal. The corn bread was a little dry, but otherwise it was super tasty.

Because I'm halfway moved out and there has been a lot of construction going on, I packed up my stuff after dinner and headed to Brian's parents' house. I knew I wouldn't be comfortable at home (only home for a couple more days) so it just made sense.

On the way, I couldn't resist stopping at a new ice cream stand to get some gelato. I had one scoop of tiramisu and it was amazing - especially with a square of dark chocolate that I pocketed from home. :)

I was so happy that I decided to spend the night with Brian's parents. I was so much more comfortable and happy there. I'm very thankful to have them right around the corner. :)

I hope you guys have a great day. Brian and I are planning on staying at his place tonight so I'll be able to post as usual!

I think you and I are pretty much 2 peas in a pod when it comes to what daily foods we like! Oatmeal with bananas and AB, check! English muffins, veggies, and hummus, check! Yogurt, fruit, and chia seeds, check! Amy's meals, check! Gelato, DOUBLE CHECK!!:)

I did a yoga class today! Haven't done an actual class in awhile. It is always harder than I think it will be...

Glad you had a nice night!! You'll be all moved in and comfy cozy in your new place before you know it!! :)
