Hi there my friends! Happy Thursday! I think it should be deemed Emily's Favorite Day instead of Thursday. The shake up would be good for everyone. What d'ya think? If not nationally, within the confines of this blog we will now refer to this day as Emily's Favorite Day. (Note: This could refer to different Emily's). Applications for the remaining days of the week are now being accepted.
OK, enough silliness. I'm feeling goofy, can ya tell?
I'm currently sitting in Starbucks sipping on a soy latte while the boy plays some ultimate frisbee. I have a packed weekend coming up so I needed to get some more school work done beforehand. There's a starbucks right by the field so it was super convenient to drop the cleat clad fellow off and head here with my trusty laptop.
Well, I finished a bit earlier than expected so what else would I do other than blog!? :)
Today, I started off with an amazing yoga session - Power Yoga from Exercise TV Online (hehe, I always find that kind of funny). It was 45 minutes of cardio style yoga. I loved it, and got the crap kicked out of me by the sweet yoga instructor. After that I was still feeling bold enough to do 10 minutes of pilates. Phew.
I was SO hungry when I got to work and I quickly made an amazing bowl of oats with skim milk, 1/2 cup oats, sunbutter and nanner. Mmmm....
Lunch was a multigrain english muffin with roasted red pepper hummus, red bell pepper and avocado. I also had a very small amount of the works chips just to keep me from having withdrawal. They. Are. So. Good.
Snack was the same as yesterday, except the nectarine was ripe and delicious.
I was super hungry when I got to the 'bucks (I think contractions are a symptom of goofiness) and so I broke into a banana bread larabar - heaven.
And here we are. The fellow is going to give me a ring after the game and we are going to head to a post game team dinner. It most often occurs at Macaroni Grill, where we can draw on the tables. Yay!
