I last left off with my goofy post from Starbucks, yikes. As predicted, we met at Macaroni Grill for dinner. I ordered a side salad with balsamic dressing on the side and scallops with veggies. I really wanted the jumbo shrimp but they were out. So I pulled a picky customer and had them substitute the scallops. It was great. :)

I always have so much fun with the frisbee folks - they're such a great bunch of people. The traffic was pretty bad on the way home because of construction so by the time we got home, it was sleepy time!
Yesterday morning, I started the day off with another smiley-style breakfast. Tasty and fun! :)

Lunch was a mixed greens salad with bell pepper and veggie burger and dollops of hummus. On the side, I had some tortilla chips.

Snack was the usual - the nectarine was so pretty.

After work, Brian and I went to the gym. I did 30 minutes on the arc trainer followed by 15 on the stairclimber. I was beat after!
We then made our way to Portsmouth, NH to meet up with some of my work buddies. We went to a restaurant called the Blue Mermaid and it was really fun. It was Rachel Ray's "Pick of Portsmouth" which was very exciting for me because of my girl-crush and all. :)
I started off by ordering a glass of Shiraz which was delicious. For my entree, I had the New World Paella with shrimp. It was really tasty but I think I would have liked more veggies and softer rice - it seemed like it wasn't cooked long enough. The sauce was really good though - a coconut curry.
I couldn't resist the dessert menu and so Brian and I split the mocha brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top and rum chocolate sauce. The brownie was warm and delicious.
Another late night last night meant a quick zonk out for both of us. It felt so good to finally climb in to bed. :)
This morning we lazily got up. Brian has frisbee practice and I am meeting up with my bestest Melissa to go to the beach. Brian went for a swim in the lake while I made myself some breakfast - a multigrain english muffin with a bit of butter and some strawberry jam along side 1 egg and 2 egg whites scrambled in the nuker with broccoli, red pepper flake, garlic powder and black pepper. It was quite yummy.

Now I'm going to go get ready for the beach! Its so beautiful here today and I'm super excited.
I hope you guys have a great day! See you laters!

Oh how fun! The beach with a friend!! Sounds like a great day ahead of you! :-)
Glad you had a nice dinner last night at RR's pick. I love her too, I think she's so cute, but Andrew can't stand her. I think her voice annoys him...
Has Brian ever played (or even heard of) disc golf? If he likes ultimate, he should totally try it out. Andrew is crazy hardcore into it. The best thing is that it's free, unlike ball golf, and not much equipment is needed.
Enjoy your lovely Saturday and thank you so very much for always leaving such sweet comments for me. You have been such an amazing supporter of me and it just means so very much!
