Sunday Fun, Continuued

Hey all! I just wanted to fill you in on our Sunday afternoon! We had a good time looking at Condos. It was a little overwhelming since it was our first time and weren't sure of what to expect or ask. Our realtor is super nice and is young so she seems aware of what our unknowns and questions are. Out of the three we looked at, one is a good candidate. It has a nice patio, an airy living room and dining room, and most importantly, a beautiful kitchen with granite countertops and cherry wood cabinets. The faucet is really cool as well, it looks almost like an old fashioned spicket.

We're going to do a bunch more looking around but it was good to get the first viewing out of the way so we know what to expect and look for. Thanks for all the good luck wishes! :)

After house hunting, we were both hungry and on our way to the party so we picked up subs from Subway. I got a six inch veggie patty on 9 grain wheat with all the veggies and spicy mustard. It had been a while since I had Subway and this was pretty tasty.

After our subs, we got to the party. What kind of party you ask? Well, it was none other than the annual Friesgiving. That's right, Friesgiving. :) Our friend Caroline has access to two deep fryers and for about three years now, she has hosted an all-out fry fest. I wasn't able to load the pictures yet, but I will be sharing the food with you, for sure. Everything from broccoli, peppers, onions, potatoes, sweet potatoes, asparagus, carrots, mashed potato balls, stuffing balls, green beans, oreos, cheesecake bites, snickers bars, marshmallows, and two turkeys were fried yesterday. It was pretty crazy to see.

Since I had my sub, I didn't really eat much of the food. I had a slice of bell pepper, an asparagus sprig, and a mashed potato and stuffing ball. They were quite tasty, but I was more than satisfied with the fried goodness of them.

During the festivities, I had a Purple Haze raspberry wheat ale. It was quite delicious.

I was pretty hungry when we got home, so I pulled out a Fiber One chocolate and oats granola bar. So tasty and chocolatey.

Stay tuned for an official Friesgiving tribute! :)

Gahh! house hunting sounds sooo exciting!! I would be a sucker for the granite countertops, by the way! Mine are some other crappy material that stains easily, meh.

As far as running, last month I pulled muscles in BOTH of my legs and could hardly walk. It was really sudden and out of nowhere, so I think (fingers crossed) that I am becoming able to run again!

Did you like the Fiber one bars? Do u think they are too sweet tasting?
