As Emily said, we headed to the Corporate Challenge in Boston tonight. Last year, it was my last race before breaking my leg two days later. So, I was pretty happy to be back at racing one year later. Although I couldn't come close to matching my time from last year, I wanted to push myself a bit to see what I could do. Emily and I got split up at the start, so I went out on my own. Not knowing what to expect from my leg/ankle, I just went out by feel starting rolling along. As I went, I got more confident in how I was feeling, so picked it up a bit and ended up finishing in 24:05 which is just under 7 minute pace. I'm pretty happy with that.
After the race, Emily and I hung around for a bit, and decided to stop for food on the way home. We stopped at "4 Burgers" in Central Square - Cambridge, which has really great homemade veggie burgers with lots of fixings, including a great Mango BBQ Sauce. The sweet potato fries are great too. It was tasty.

We then enjoyed the nice night and walked to Harvard Square to get the T back to my place. All in all, a good night. Adios, internet people.
