I woke up around 9 after the first night of really good sleep since being back from Costa Rica (it was much needed). My Dad made some of the Costa Rican coffee I brought back and boy was it good! For breakfast I had some Kashi GoLean Crunch with skim milk, raisins and a banana.
After breakfast I did a 20 minute strength yoga session with Rodney - it kicked my butt! I heart Rodney.
My hair appointment was at 11:30 so I got dressed and headed out. My hairdresser wanted to try something new and decided to give me a bob - it looks really nice, I was nervous at first but I like it.
Once I got home, I was hungry for lunch and my mom had her homemade hummus all ready! I had some with a whole wheat pita, red peppers and cuc. I also had a diet orange dry soda.
After we were all properly fueled, we headed out to tackle the back lawn. The ice storm seriously downed so many branches - it was crazy! My mom gave me the fun job of starting a fire in our little outdoor fire place, so that was cool. It was a really nice day and it was nice to be outside doing something. We got a lot done, so it was helpful to my parents as well!
We decided to call it a day around 3:30. I was pretty hungry so I had an apple with crunchy smart balance pb.
After letting it digest a bit, I headed out to go for a short run - 3.17 miles at 25:50. I felt pretty tired during it, but I was listening to the workout mix on my ipod (something I usually don't do for safety reasons) and it really had me moving quickly.
When I got back I was feeling a bit hungry again so I had some more of the wheat thin light crisps. They're quite yummy.
My dad made a special dinner for everyone - veggie lasagna with spinach and mushrooms. Its so light and delicious - a real treat! We also had some wine along side it.
Dessert was more Stewarts light ice cream - so creamy and delicious.
I got another great night's sleep last night and woke up to more delicious coffee. My parents had gotten some cream cheese from panera last week and I couldn't resist it with a bagel for breakfast. I had an everything bagel with some light honey walnut cream cheese - my favorite.
I'm not really sure what the plan is for today - probably some more yoga, maybe some shopping? Hope you guys enjoy your Sunday!
