Barney Butter!

Yes, it came today! I was sitting at my desk when my package was delivered. I was so happy and excited to break into it! :) I'm already planning on bringing the travel packs home with me this weekend. Yay!

For breakfast today I had some cereal to switch it up a bit (and to use up my long-sitting stash). I had bran flakes with banana and soy milk. I was worried that it wouldn't fill me up since I was pretty hungry but it did a good job. I feel like the extra protein of the soymilk helps!

I also had another coffee cocoa today - hazlenut coffee a tiny bit of low fat milk and about a spoon of hot chocolate powder. I like not using the artificial sweetner but still am able to enjoy a little bit of sweet without the coffee being too strong.

I got a little shaky around 10:40 and had the same snack as yesterday - an apple with a babybel. I love this combo!

For lunch, I had to break into my Barney Butter (crunchy, of course) and so had it on a toasted whole wheat english muffin with a little bit of raspberry preserves. I feel like I used more than I would if it were smooth (its hard to spread with the crunchies) but it was so good! Its definitely different than the type that I had tried before - more sweet. Very good though. :) To round out my lunch, I had a mixed green salad with baby carrots and light olive oil vinaigrette dressing.

Things are going pretty well today; I can't believe that its already lunch time on Thursday! My car is all packed to head home to Albany tomorrow (in case I end up staying with Brian tonight) and I'm super excited to see my family. My agenda is pretty full, including getting my hair cut, shopping for some new work clothes, and skiing on Sunday. It should be great!

Its been a busy and tiring afternoon but I did receive some good news! I received enough financial aid to get me through the semester without a problem until work can reimburse me! Its such a weight off of my shoulders. Yay for that. :)

This afternoon, I got hungry around 2:45 and had some kashi crackers with hummus. One of my favs.

Brian and I are going into Somerville tonight. I'm probably going to go to the gym or running before hand, I haven't decided which yet though! I guess time will tell...
